Mobile Appointment REFRESH

THE CHALLENGE
Appointment bookings take too long.

Scheduling appointments online have made it easier for patients to book their doctors, exams, and etc. Currently, the Kaiser appointment section requires 11 Steps to book appointments which could cause frustration for the user to complete the process. As a result, more patients are inclined to schedule appointments by phone incurring longer wait times.

WHAT WAS DONE

  • Site Audit

  • Comp Analysis

  • User Journey Map

  • User Persona

  • Zone Diagrams

  • New User Flows

  • Hi-Fi Prototype

THE RESULT.

An engaging user flow by reducing the number of click-throughs in the process down to 4-5 steps while incorporating a nice visual layout. Users will have the ability to view various time slots to choose dates that work for them instead of showing only the next available appointment. Aside from streamlining the appointment process, I implemented an improved Filter System to facilitate the search for specific doctors or specialists based on categories.
